CHRISTMAS AT THE FARM HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT & REGULATIONS *

I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the conduct of my exhibit and the security of any items brought to my assigned area or any other space. I understand that Christmas at the Farm (CATF) is responsible for providing exhibit space and attracting customers to the event. I will not hold Meyer’s Tails Up Farm, Gwen or Kent Meyer accountable for any loss, personal injury, or damage to my property or myself, or to anyone else or their property. I agree to adhere to the following regulations and understand that any violation of these regulations may result in the immediate forfeiture of my privilege to exhibit and/or sell my work without refund of my fee or recourse against Meyer’s Tails Up Farm, Gwen or Kent Meyer. I recognize the right of CATF or its designee to enforce these regulations and to be the final authority in any disputes. Meyer’s Tails Up Farm, Gwen/Kent Meyer is not liable for refunds of booth fees or any other losses resulting from weather, fire, or other calamities, acts of God, public enemies, strikes, statutes, ordinances, legal authorities, or causes beyond its control. Vendors violating this contract may be excluded and their exhibits removed from current and/or future markets at CATF's sole discretion. No refunds will be provided. Under no circumstances, including negligence, shall CATF be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. The exhibitor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Meyer’s Tails Up Farm, Gwen/Kent Meyer, and any authorized agents from any claims, loss, or damage to any property at the CATF location, arising from any act or omission of the exhibitor, its agents, or employees. Exhibitors must keep their station neat, orderly, and free from hazards. They are solely responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of their display items, and Meyer’s Tails Up Farm, Gwen/Kent Meyer is not responsible for such incidents. Exhibitors agree to follow all CATF committee rules and regulations. Attendance as an exhibitor constitutes acceptance of these conditions. This contract is considered to be made in the State of Illinois and shall be interpreted under its laws. If legal action is necessary to enforce this contract or any of its provisions, it shall be filed in the courts of Boone County, Illinois. The vendor expressly agrees to the jurisdiction of these courts. Both parties accept service of process via ordinary mail sent to their business address.
