Christmas at the Farm – 2025

Show Information – November 7 & 8 (Set Up Nov. 7, 8am)

Christmas at the Farm (CATF) is organized and managed by Gwen & Kent Meyer, owners of Meyer’s Tails Up Farm/Meyer’s Canine Colony. The event takes place at Meyer’s Tails Up Farm located at 5390 Irene Road, Belvidere, IL, utilizing both indoor and outdoor spaces.

The event spans 1 ½ days and features a juried selection of vendors chosen for their unique offerings, attractive displays, and pleasant demeanors. While experience isn't necessary, a friendly attitude is. The market will feature vintage, repurposed, handmade items, and new seasonal gifts. Market items will be subject to the show personnel’s discretion.  All items should be creatively displayed.

This show is not a typical flea market. It’s a true “Christmas Market” event, and we are seeking current looks and gift items that have a WOW factor. Vendors will set up their individual booths or tent spaces and will handle their own check-out, cashiering, sales tax collection, and tax payment to the State of Illinois.

Set Up
Set-up will take place on Friday, November 7 at 8:00am. No exceptions are allowed unless authorized by show personnel. You will be assigned a specific load-in location, door, or gate number. Vendors inside large tents or buildings are prohibited from using EZ-Up pop-up tents or tent frames. We have a limited number of outdoor spaces where vendor-owned EZ-Up tents are allowed. Vendors must provide their own tables, and folding tables must be fully skirted to the floor. Empty packing boxes, tubs, and other items must be hidden from view or kept in your trailer. No fresh greens, hay, or straw are allowed inside the main building. If using paper shred, be prepared to remove all of it upon departure.

Tear Down

Tear-down will occur on Saturday immediately following the completion of the event. Early tear down is not permitted. All empty boxes, cartons, broken furniture, and other waste must be taken home, as the on-site dumpster is for Meyer's use only. Indoor booths must be broom swept before leaving, and outdoor spaces must be cleaned up. Do not leave hay, straw, or paper shred on the ground.

Overnight Security
The building is secured and locked during nighttime, with tent walls firmly in place. Meyer’s staff reside on site to oversee the show grounds. Nonetheless, if staying outside, ensure that your items and valuables are well-protected from wind, weather, and animals. Tent walls are recommended during evening hours. Due to the rural location, wild animals are common. Avoid leaving treats or any kind of food inside your tents at night.

Vendor Parking
You may park your trailer and car within the show site during the day in designated areas. Vendor vehicles and trailers must be moved to their assigned locations by 3:00pm on Friday and by 9:00am on Saturday.
